History of Quality Assessment and Assurance Center

History

ANAU Quality Assessment and Assurance was established, upon the resolution taken by the ANAU Board of Trustees on structural changes of the University on November 6, 2018. Before center has been established the works were implemented by the division of Educational reforms, strategic planning, quality assurance and self-analyzing of ANAU Educational methodological center which was established as a result of structural reforms in 2012. The process of self-analyzing and self-assessment in 2012 has been the starting point for organizing the University’s academic processes in a new culture in line with international accreditation standards and criteria. Subsequently, in 2016 the division was reorganized into the division of reforms, strategic planning and modern technologies (DRSPMT). Quality assurance and guidelines of European Higher Education Areas and the regulation on “State Accreditation of RA Institutions and their Educational Programs” approved by the RA Government decree are on the basis of the Quality assurance process. The QAA Center coordinated the institutional accreditation process of ANAU in 2015-2021. For more details of ANAU accreditation see here։
