Agrarian Management Master’s Program was founded within the framework of collaboration between Armenian National Agrarian University and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany). Combining the experience and methodology of Armenian National Agrarian University and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, the Master’s Program initially had great success. During the eighteen-year activity, more than 70 ANAU graduates continued their education at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and more than hundred students had their hands-on trainings in Federal Republic of Germany.

The program was provided in Armenian language only until 2011. Since 2011 to 2020 the program was available in both languages – Armenian and German, and since 2020 – only in German language. Every year in the framework of the project German language courses are organized in order to provide chance to students of ANAU to have their hands-on training in Federal Republic of Germany. The aim of the program is to give the students both modern fundamental and hands-on knowledge. The best students get an opportunity to continue their studies in Germany.

Cooperating with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences the educational materials are regularly updated, the lecturers are trained at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, seminars are organized both in ANAU and in Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, and educational-informational visits are organized for students as well.

Since 2011 the project is funded by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). Thanks to DAAD support, the program is being expanded. It provides opportunities for ANAU students with high progress (especially in need) to receive scholarships and study both at ANAU and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences.

The most important outcome of the project was the international accreditation of the Agrarian Management Masters Program of ANAU and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences in 2016, which was followed by signing a contract for providing double diplomas in 2019. The last provides Armenian graduates with an opportunity of getting double diplomas studying 2 semesters at ANAU and 2 semesters at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences․

Dear students our team welcomes you as our future masters and program participants and is ready to provide you with detailed information and consultations.
