Projects Implemented within the Framework of Erasmus Mundus Programme

Erasmus Mundus is a programme aimed at increasing cooperation and mobility in the field of higher education, with the purpose to improve the quality of European higher education through cooperation promoting dialogue between peoples and cultures.
The Erasmus Mundus program supports:

Higher education institutions wishing to conduct joint programs at post-graduate level or establish cooperation between the European institutions and target third countries.
Individual students, researchers, or university lecturers who want to study, conduct research or teach within the framework of the above-mentioned joint programs.

Since 2007 Armenian National Agrarian University has implemented the following projects within the framework of Erasmus Mundus programme:

2007 – Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window (The number of grant agreement is 2007-1243/001-001 MUN-ECW). The project coordinator is Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece.

2008 – Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window (The number of grant agreement is 2008-1961/001-001-MUN-ECW). The project coordinator is Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece.

2009 – Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window Lot 6. The number of grant agreement is 2009-1683/001-002-ECW.

2012 – ELECTRA: “Enhancing Learning in ENPI Countries through Clean Technologies and Research-related Activities” The coordinator of ELECTRA project is Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg (Germany) and co-coordinator is Ilia State University (Georgia).

2013 – EMBER: “Erasmus Mundus Broadening Educational Opportunities”. The coordinator of EMBER project is the University of Seville (Spain) and co-coordinator is Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Georgia).

2013 – EFFORT “Education Force: Driving Mobility for EU- East Europe cooperation”. The coordinator of EFFORT project is Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece) and co-coordinator is Armenian National Agrarian University.

Within the framework of the above mentioned projects ANAU has cooperated multilaterally with the higher education institutions of Greece, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and other EU member county universities by implementing undergraduate, master, doctorate, post doctorate, administrative and academic staff mobility.
Except Erasmus Mundus project, ANAU was involved in “ISEKI-Mundus 2 – Internationalization and Sustainability of ISEKI-Food Network” project in 2008 (Secretary of ISEKI-Food 3 and ISEKI Mundus 2 projects).
“ISEKI-Mundus 2 – Internationalization and Sustainability of ISEKI-Food Network” project, approved by the European Commission, was implemented due to the cooperation. It aimed at promoting the improvement and internationalization of higher education addressed to the solution of food-related issues.
