Upon the decision of the ANAU Board of Trustees made during the session on November 6 the chair of “Agribusiness Management” was established as a result of the unification of the chairs.
Former chair of Agrarian Organization was formed in 1933. Later the chair was renamed as Farms Organizatuion Chair, then – Agricultural Production Organization and Planning. In 2004 three chairs were unified and Agribusiness Management chair was established, the head of chair was professor E.Ghazaryan.In result of structural changes in 2008 Agribusiness Organization Chair was established.
Professors, docents and senior lecturers of the chair have done a lot of work in forming syllabuses. 22 syllabuses have been formed according to the required criteria.
Lecturers of the chair are actively engaged in sciuentific research works.During 1980-1990 scientific suggertions by lecturers have been applied in the industry in Artashat, Vardenis, Siain communities. Results of scientific works done by lecturers are summarized in 1171 articles that have been published in different scientific jounals since Soviet times.
During recent years 18 brochures and monographs have been published.1 doctorate and 24 candidate theses have been represented.
