Balahovit teaching experimental farm of dairy has produced cheese, milk, yogurt, curd, buttermilk under “Zovet Kat” brand. However the farm doesn’t work with the previous capacity: currently, the farm is being repaired, rebuilt, and upgraded with equipment. Recently two-week practical training of 6 students of the faculty of food technologies has been held here. Under chief winemaker Artem Eranosyan’s supervision students produced yogurt, curd, buttermilk and matsuni by themselves. The products made by students, we believe, are the best and safest in the Republic.
The doors of the farm were open again after a long time by student’s initiatives. Students were satisfied with their on-the-job training as they were able to implement and control the whole production cycle from processing to packaging.
Repaired and technically equipped production will be ready to serve to its main purpose becoming the best place to train highest quality technologists of tomorrow.
