Chess museum

The Chess Museum has been opened officially in July, 2001. A lot of valuable materials from important events in the sphere of chess are presented in the museum, including the history of Armenian players’ victories and etc.
Republican, inter-university championships are held in the museum, as well as competitions and оlympiads, meetings with Armenian masters of chess. Writings and messages of outstanding chess masters, such as R.Vahanyan, V.Hakobyan, L.Aronyan, S.Lputyan, K.Asryan, G.Sargsyan, A.Anastasyan, A.Minasyan, A.Petrosyan, T.Nalbandyan, A.Eghiazaryan, T.Petrosyan, E.Danielyan, L.Mkrtchyan, N.Aghinyan, A.Demirkhanyan, G.Hakobyan, G.Khlghatyan are included in special register book of museum.
The founder and the head of the museum was R. A. Chatinyan, Candidate of Sciences, Docent . The museum is located in the 1st building, in room 130.
