The institute, as a structural part of ANAU, founded in 2010, involves divisions of field-work automation, automation of provender milling and animal husbandry, automobile transportation, design and engineering performances and experimental measurements.
As a result of structural changes the institute consists of 3 divisions;

The researches are being carried out by A. Tarverdyan, NSA academician, professors D. Petrosyan, Sh. Grigoryan, candidates of sciences S. Hovhannisyan, T. Smoyan, V. Sargsyan, V. Margaryan and constructors J. Mkrtchyan, J. Mkrtchyan.

Scientific researches are being carried out in the following directions;

• • • Motoblocker, development of a car complex with minimal energy costs (soil, sprinkler, grass mower, grape and fruit garden cultivation machinery),
    • Design of processing machines for food industry waste (fertilizers, spirits, vegetable combine drying).

Design and develop the following technical measures for applying in production process:

• • • Motorcycle sprinkler, plow,
    • Garden cultivation machine,
    • Small-grain seed hydropneumatic driller,
    • Fruit stone, spirits, fruits and vegetables processing lines.

The department will carry out researches and design the followings:

• • • To design and process individual feedstock technological lines for farmers to combine them with designing of food additives for cooking foodstuffs,
    • Develop modern technology and machinery for providing milking of agricultural animals in both barn and pasture seasons,
    • Reconstruction of circumferential system of gathering and removing mature in a small barn. Review three ways of mature processing processing.
