During 17-21 of October 2022 an International Staff Week was organized at the University of Valladolid. The representatives of universities from different countries, specialists from the international relations departments, professors and other employees took part in the Week. The participating universities included Medical University-Sofia, University Paris-Saclay, University of Lodz, University of Tallin, etc. The leading specialist of the ANAU International Relations Department, Susanna Hayrapetyan was among the participants of the Staff Week.
The week was full of practical and cultural elements. On the first day, the Director of International Relations Service of the University of Valladolid, Mar Fernandez introduced Valladolid city, the University of Valladolid and the activities of International Relations Service, all the international projects including Erasmus+, partners of the university and agreements in force. The employee of the International Relations Service Marian Calvo later elaborated on the Erasmus+ KA 107/171 project.
On the second day, the participants had the opportunity to meet with the coordinators of International Relations Service and discuss issues of mutual interest and possibilities of future cooperation. In addition, three students from the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) shared their experience with the participants.
Seven universities presented their best practices of ICM project on Wednesday. Susanna Hayrapetyan introduced ANAU with all its infrastructures and best practices of Erasmus+ ICM. Susanna also spoke about the projects of ANAU International Relations Department including Visegrad +, AWDA and Erasmus+ KA2 projects – GeoTak and SMARTI.
The cultural elements of the mobility included guided walking tour of Valladolid, Spanish language course, visit to Segovia Campus, guided walking tour of Segovia, visit to the faculty of law, etc. On behalf of ANAU, the International Relations Department thanks the employees of International Relations Service of the University of Valladolid for the perfect organization of the International Staff Week.
