
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the module, learners will be able to:
design and set up student-centred learning activities using appropriate English;
facilitate and manage inclusive student interaction in their classroom;
check their students’ understanding and/or learning and respond appropriately using student-centred English language;
design and deliver a short, student-friendly lecture using appropriate technology.

Module Aims and Overview:
This module aims to prepare teachers to design and deliver a range of student-centered learning activities using appropriate English.
1.The principles of student-centred pedagogy with exemplification.
2.Techniques and vocabulary for participatory learning (e.g., to manage group activities and facilitate peer learning).
3.Methods and language for checking understanding/learning and providing feedback.
4.Approaches to creating accessible and concise information delivery using technology (e.g., signposting and concise language).
Module Assessment:
1-hour interactive lesson, including a 10-minute recorded lecture e.g. narrated PowerPoint or YouTube, along with a detailed lesson plan.
