Accountancy of ANAU carries out the University’s financial-economic activity accounting. Works are being organized according to RA law on accounting and legal acts of government bodies. Financial statements are formed appropriate to international standards of accounting. Since 2000 modern accounting system, which is being updated regularly, is used. Accountancy coordinates the financial activity of Vanadzor and Sisian branches, “Balahovit” and “Voskehat”, educational- experimental centers, ANAU lyceum, “Zartonk” resthouse.
Chief accountants of Yerevan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine Institute and Armenian Agricultural Institute were headed by S. Poghosyan, A. Marutyan, S. Sukiasyan, N. Mkrtchyan, E. Eghyan, J. Grigoryan, A. Shahnazaryan, R. Badalyan, V. Shirakuni, Y. Barseghyan and O. Bavina.
