POSITION TITLE: Project Coordinator

LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia

TERM:  Full-time

START DATE: September 2023

Job Description: ANAU as one of the implementing partners of the Armenia Workforce Development Activity is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join its team. The ideal candidate is creative and analytical thinker with the ability to meet and exceed project goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, manage and monitor the entire project,
  • Supervise overall project activities,
  • Manage project budget and work plan,
  • Execute project work plans to meet the goals and objectives of the project,
  • Ensure good coordination and communication with partners and all stakeholders,
  • Work under the supervision of ANAU vice-rectors,
  • Follow up with project indicators and make sure to deliver tasks in time in accordance with indicators,
  • Coordinate project procurement, contracting and delivery activities,
  • Coordinate collaboration with SMM team to ensure proper project visibility,
  • Engage appropriate experts and trainers for effective implementation of the project,
  • Develop quarterly and annual reports of the project.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • University degree,
  • At least 3 years of experience in project coordination,
  • Ability to coordinate the team activities,
  • Organizational skills, including an ability to work independently and take initiative,
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Publisher, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint),
  • Management skills,
  • Planning and budgeting skills,
  • Reporting and time management skills,
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills,
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details,
  • Flexible, highly motivated self-starter,
  • Fluency in written and spoken Armenian and English.

About the project:  Armenia Workforce Development Activity is a five-year Program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) and consortium partners, including the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU) Foundation, Fund of Armenian Relief (FAR) and Civitta Armenia.

The Activity aims to equip 10,000 young people (including women and people with disabilities) at the age of 15-29 in all marzes of Armenia with working skills, highly demanded in the labor market and ensure 7,000 of them have better employment opportunities.

Three primary objectives of the Activity are:

  • To reduce the gap between the skills of the workforce and the needs of employers,
  • To shift societal perceptions to support effective labor market participation,
  • To improve the operating and enabling environment of labor market development.
