ANAU granted by MESCS authorization to implement two new master’s degree programs

We are pleased to inform you that by the Order No. 1567-A/2 of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, dated July 8, 2025, the “Armenian National Agrarian University” Foundation has been granted authorization and an updated annex to its license to implement the following master’s degree programs, taught in literary Armenian, in full-time study mode, with a duration of 1.5 years:

  • In the specialty 00.7 – “Management”, the educational program 041301.42.7 – ” Green Economy Strategic Management “
  • In the specialty 00.7 – “Environmental Protection”, the educational program 071201.05.7 – “Sustainable Cities and Green Technologies”

Each program is authorized with a projected student capacity of 20 students per cohort.

The new educational programs “Green Economy Strategic Management” and “Sustainable Cities and Green Technologies” offered by ANAU were developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ T-GREEN project – Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future.

It should also be noted that, within the same project, the existing Master’s program in Food Technology has been revised, with certain modules reprofiled to make the curriculum greener. As a result, 4–5 subject courses have been added, amounting to a total of 20–25 additional credits.

The T-GREEN project (Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future) is a three-year initiative aimed at the necessary reforms in postgraduate education, with a core focus on green policy. The project brings together 17 institutions, including 4 European and 9 Armenian universities – among them, the Armenian National Agrarian University – and has enabled the transition from traditional curricula to green-oriented academic programs. It aims to train professionals equipped with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and innovative competencies.
