RF and EU Desk Officer in Brussels participated in the meeting remotely and EU, Armenian and RF Partners held face-to-face meeting.<\/p>\n<p>An opening speech was delivered by the Rector of Goris State University, Rector of PAARA, Lead Country Coordinator in Armenia Tereza Khechoyan and Lead Country Coordinator in Russian Federation Natalia Burenina. The representative of Technical University Dresden Gerard Patrick Cullen gave a grant overview of SMARTI project. Then SMARTI project team members Alexei Kupriakhin from PSU and Ara Amiryan from ANAU presented their desk and field study reports implemented by project partner universities within the frameworks of the project. Eduardo Cardoso spoke about EU Inventory of Best Practices.<\/p>\n<p>On the same day, each PC was assigned in advance to present the strengths and weaknesses of ESTC system and the book \u201cHeadway\u201d as an official literature involved in a project. Liana Vardanyan as a team member of SMARTI project from ANAU presented the related report.<\/p>\n<p>After the lunch break the coordinator of Liverpool John Moores University made a presentation on the descriptors of the project and gave preview of the upcoming methodological seminar.<\/p>\n<p>The second training day was mainly devoted to the discussions about launching EMI centers which need to be equipped, as well as a training was held showcasing all the required documents for financial accountability.<\/p>\n<p>The last day of the meeting was organized for the publicity officers of the project in order to enhance their skills of disseminating project activities using various dissemination channels.
