Teaching Mobility in Spain

Representatives from Armenian National Agrarian University, Professor Aghavard Khachatryan, Head of the Chair of Higher Mathematics and Theoretical Mechanics, Ara Amiryan, Professor at the Chair of Graphics and Machine Design Basics and Naira Aloyan, Associate Professor at the Chair Hydraulic Engineering and Melioration,

had a staff mobility for teaching, which was organized in Spain at the campuses of Elche and Orihuela of Muguel Hernandez University within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA107 International Credit Mobility Programme from May 28 till June 1, 2018. The members of the group were warmly welcomed by Monica Kandela Semprere, International Relations staff member of Miguel Hernandez University, who assisted the participants during the visit.
During the week, Members of the ANAU presented lectures on previously chosen topics for students of relevant specialties. During the seminars, thematic questions and answers were delivered by students and lecturers, as a result of which issues of general interest were clarified.
Members of the ANAU team also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work carried out by the university with the inclusive representatives from different countries involved in another project implemented within the framework of Erasmus+.

Several professional meetings were also held, in particular with Professor Abadia Sanchez Rodrigues, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Miguel Hernandez, Professor Alberto Rodriguez Martinez, Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and his deputy Ramón Peral Orts. During the meetings, ANAU members exchanged experience, learned about the peculiarities of the educational process in the University, teaching and learning methods, the credit system, and the curriculums.
Participation in seminars and workshops during the International Week gave us the opportunity to meet new partners, explore the experiences of the host university, as well as share our experiences and knowledge, establish new partnerships, and, why not, also get acquainted with the magnificent nature, history and culture of Valencia. Our partners in Spain expressed their intention to visit the Armenian National Agrarian University this year within the framework of the Erasmus+ ICM Programme to exchange experience enhance inter-university relations with the prospect of possible cooperation.
