Experience Exchange with our European Partners
From 19 to 23 February, 2018 ANAU staff members from the Department of International Relations, Ms. Naira Atanesyan and Ms. Zaruhi Margaryan
as well as Vice Dean, Associate Professor of the Chair of Epidemiology and Parasitology, Mr. Seryozha Yeghoyan took part in the “International Training Week” activities organized at Vienna University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) within the framework of Erasmus+ KA1 “International Credit Mobility” program.
The main objective of the training week was the presentation of the daily activities of the international offices of universities and experience exchange in regard to the admission and study organization for international students, the promotion of international exchange projects and encouragement of students for the participation in international programs. During the training week visits were organized to different Institutes of BOKU university; particularly ANAU staff members visited the Institute of Food Technology and were introduced to the equipment used for the organization of students’ practical work and were presented some of the students’ production results.
Representatives from the universities of Poland and Portugal were also participating in the “International Training Week” and ANAU staff of the Department of International Relations had some discussions with them in regard to the implementation of international projects, facilitation of daily work activities with students, general activities of the universities in the sphere of internationalization as well as some possibilities of future cooperation with the School of Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Lisbon were discussed.
Besides, ANAU staff members took part in some cultural-integration activities for international students organized by the BOKU University which once more gave an opportunity to get acquainted with the European experience in arranging international events.
Thus, it can be affirmed that academic and administrative staff exchange within the framework of Erasmus+ program is in fact important in respect to the development of internationalization of the program and partner country universities.
