Professional orientation visits to Agrarian University
Agrarian University kicks off in 2018 professional orientation visits for general school graduates. On January 31, the University hosted the students of high school # 2 high school.
In the conference hall of the University's Scientific Council, prospective applicants were admitted to the Department of Educational Methods and Professions, Vice-rector Smbat Daveyan and dean of the Agronomy Faculty Gagik Santrosyan. Do not worry, the profession chooses life for the whole life and it should be pleasant, dear and demanded, "said the Vice-Rector, underlining the fact that today in the Republic of Armenia there is a great demand for high-quality and innovative specialists in agrarian sphere, since agriculture is one of the priorities of the country's economy. S. Daveyan and G. Santrosyan answered the questions of prospective applicants regarding the tuition fees and discount system, the continuing education and practice at a number of prestigious universities in the ANAU, the benefits of international international master's programs in the university, the possibility of getting double diplomas and various local and international student academic mobility programs. It should be noted that the Tuition Fees of the University of Agrarian University among the state higher educational institutions are the lowest and for the last 15 years ANAU has not left any tuition fees.Then a small cognitive tour was organized for the pupils. They visited the university gym, visited the ANAU History Museum, getting acquainted with the rich history and achievements of the 88-year-old educational institution .The panels also visited the ANAU Agribusiness Training Center, which is the only English language master 's program in the field of agribusiness economics. The center trains Armenian and foreign experts in leading universities in the US and Europe, preparing specialists in the fields of economics, marketing and management with extensive knowledge of English, with excellent knowledge of English and advanced communication skills. The Center's graduates receive a high-paid job in Armenia's agribusiness and various international organizations, receiving the ANAU diploma and the US University of Texas Certificate. The pupils' tour was over at tables at the ANAU student cafeteria. As Yerevan High School N2 students mentioned, the day was full of helpful information and was impressive as they sat in the student benches for the first time trying to imagine student life and everyday life. Professional orientation visits, as in previous years, will be continuous. ANAU will soon be hosting high school students from both the capital and the regions.
